Meet Yvé
Welcome to HUM SoM—my corner of meaning where mystical meets critical and magic meets mundane!
I carry the name Yvé as a playful nod to my family name, Yvonne. Names hold power, and this one connects me to my roots with both magic and lightness.
My journey has been shaped by many identities, including my recent (and liberating) discovery of being Autistic. Like many hyperlexic Autistic women, I spent years masking to fit societal expectations. Now, I’m exploring what it means to unmask and sharing that journey here.
Books are my refuge and compass. I’m a lifelong Tolkien devotee, a sci-fi enthusiast (especially global voices), and a Lauren Groff admirer. Cooking elaborate, themed dinners for loved ones is another way I weave creativity and connection into everyday life.
Mysticism has been a constant thread in my story. Since childhood, I’ve experienced energies, visions, and deep spiritual connections. These experiences led me to study with diverse spiritual teachers and dedicate my life to helping others discover their own gifts. My purpose is simple: fostering connection with the Divine through meaningful relationships.
But mysticism without critical thought? That’s just conspiracy. I believe spirituality should be explored with both wonder and intellectual rigor. At HUM SoM, I teach how to embrace the mystical through decolonized, research-driven approaches—because magic is even more powerful when the math “maths.”
